The topic for this time on Tell Me About … is YOUR JOURNEY, but first I would like to thank all of you who linked up posts about Aftercare the last time. Thank you for all of your entries and, as usual, it was great to find out more about the different thoughts people have. I realise that everyone is busy, but if you have the time to comment on posts too, that is always encouraging for those who have written them and much appreciated. I would also like to apologise for being slow to read and respond at the moment; things are stupidly busy for me at work and I am not getting the time that I usually get to spend on my other projects.
This week I would like to highlight the post The Need for Aftercare in BDSM and D/s by Deviant Succubus. DS always has her own unique slant on things and helps to remind us that everything is a D/s relationship is as individual as the people within it. This was an interesting post which covered why traditional aftercare is not something that is helpful to her and why, as well as the sorts of things that do work. If you haven’t read it already, follow the link to check it out.
We all have a story to tell about how we got to doing this thing that we do, and the journey we are on now. Not only that, we can all learn an awful lot from each other. So as the year draws to a close, this time on Tell Me About we are asking you to write about your journey and link it back here for us. You might want to tell us about your journey into D/s, kink or BDSM, or your journey as a blogger who is writing about these topics. Feel free to interpret the prompt as you wish and share your journey with us.
Please share your thoughts about Your Journey and then link for us here on Tell Me About…
Tell Me About …. is about creating a resource so if people wish to link more than one relevant post or link an older post, that is fine.
If you are new then please check out the rules and then take part by adding your post using the linky tool at the bottom of the page. Remember to display the Tell Me About … badge on your post, and please comment on the other posts and promote on social media where possible.
If you would like more information about the how and the why, the what and the how of taking part, then you might want to read my post, Memes and Prompts.
This topic will close at 12pm on Saturday December 19th
